Onion ring appetizer was good. Salad bar nice selection of fresh veggies. Days sirloin steak special was tender and tasty with a bourbon glaze.

Great place, just wish you could share

This restaurant is right off the exit at highway 55 and can be seen from the interstate if heading east.



On this Saturday night at 6:00pm, the parking lot was half full in a drizzling rain. As we entered we were offered smoking or non-smoking seating. We chose non and were seated immediately.



Service was fast and attentive. We were asked if we wanted bread and a basket was delivered along with a cinnemon

butter (hint of nutmeg). The bread was HOT and FRESH.



We ordered a Black & Bleu hamburger with fries, fried green tomatoes, and the salad bar.



The salad bar was the best choice. The garden greens were fresh and crisp, no wilted items and the croutons were crunchy. The thousand island and ranch dressings came in a dish, not in packets.



The hamburger came open faced, piping hot with fresh tomato, lettuce and onion on a fresh bun. The bleu cheese crumbles were opaque and suspect and had little taste. These were scraped aside. The fries were hot and crisp and

came with the requested tartar sauce.



Service remained attentive with drink refills always ready. The manager checked to see if all was well.



Our check was $22 plus tip.



Bottom line: Expect a 'Ponderosa' or 'Golden Corral' experience in miniature. This restaurant is clustered with a Ramada Inn and a small cinema complex. Altogether it's a nice addition to the Shelbyville/Interstate area.

our server was considerate, and did what she could to help us, but over all the restaurant was not up to expectations.
