Shelbyville Shelby County Parks & Recreation board was established in 1970. The board is located in Shelbyville, Ky., and operates and provides maintenance services for more than 12 parks spread over an area of 240 acres. It operates various parks, such as the Clear Creek Park, that provides a wide range of recreational and sports activities for young people and adults, such as canoeing and camping grounds.
