East Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade four and offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs. It offers various special programs, such as accelerated reader and success maker, which is a computer-based educational program. The school provides special classes for students with specific learning problems. It also offers a special Title I reading program to assist students in grades one through four. In addition, the school offers various special education services, including counseling, hearing screening and special education services. It has a team of psychologists who assist in diagnosing and developing learning programs for students with learning problems. East Elementary School is a part of the Sheldon Community School District.
