Fixed my broken laptop (dropped it and messed up the screen n hard drive) for cheap. Would recommend.

Too bad I have to give it one star - I used to work here, this place sucks.

Do not go here...

I brought my smart phone there to get the screen fixed because i dropped it and it cracked. The place was sketchy and the owner sounded like he was on drugs. But i was eager to get my phone fixed and he said he could do it. I gave him a down payment of $50 and he said hed have the part here in a week. I waited and still no part. He said he'd call me when it came in. I called and called and he kept promising day after day that it would be in tomorrow or the next day. Finally 2 weeks later on a thursday, i called and he said it was there and to come in that monday...(thanks for calling me and telling me)

When i got there monday he said he didn't have time to fix it and that he would definitely have time tomorrow...i was sick of waiting so i asked for my screen so that i could go somewhere else and get it fixed in under an hour. He wouldn't give it to me...so i asked for my money back and he gave it to me in check...luckily it didn't bounce. he was so weird and slow and creepy every time i would come in. He sounded drunk. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else just in case!

Very impressed! Never thought I would ever trust a computer repair company like I do Bear Computer Repair in Shelton, CT. I have tried Best Buy, and the geeks near my town, including Staples, and I happy to say that I finally found a repair company that I trust! To give you a little feedback about my experience, I brought in my brand new computer that I bought from Walmart a few months ago, completely bare bones. They installed an operating system Windows 7 and got rid of all of my viruses that I had gotten in the last few months. They fixed it within the hour. The service was fast and efficient. Wonderful, very nice experience, and highly recommend. Bear Computer is the place to go!

I brought my laptop into these guys with a broken keyboard and some virus, Only cost me 50 bucks and it was done the same day.. Good service, friendly atmosphere, I would recommend them.

Bear Computer Repair is the only computer repair place that I would do business with. You can trust these folks. Never go anywhere else. They have a new engineer and a certified tech working there and i ask them all the time questions about computers and gaming and they always give me advice i never would use another computer place. No way, man!

They helped me with website design and my logo for my small business they are helping me advertise with my site and everything. not only that but bear computer repair is teaching me website design too so i can eventually go in and make the changes! great help and great minds think alike!

Free coffee! Bear Computer Repair not only sells and buys computers, but they also offer a nice selection of DVDS, and electronics that you may be interested in. I went in there and needed a VGA cable and paid 5 bucks (along with my free coffee). They have used items at 75 percent off what retail stores like Walmart would cost. Phone chargers too, I purchased one for 10 bucks -- so not only does Bear Computer Repair fix and buy and sell computers they also sell for 75 percent off. Check them out def!

Go to Bear! Awesome service. No problems, no headaches-- I dropped my PC with Bear Computer Repair and 48 hours later, picked it up the computer was in mint condition. Got a warranty. I'm happy with the price- choose Bear. I'm telling you you will not find a better computer place. Tell your friends. You won't be disappointed. Quite frankly, they are quite the crew, very humorous, and they really care-- I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My computer runs fabulously (is that a word?) thanks to Bear computer repair out of Shelton, CT. I will never bring my computer anywhere else besides bear computer repair. My son's computer now runs without fault, they repaired the DC Jack for minimal costs, and they were always on point- the pc was fixed in less than a week, just in time for his book report! He's very grateful-- thanks to Bear Computer Repair, he happily submitted his book report on time! Not to mention, it was on one of my favorite novels!

This place is really great and Daniel is a great person. Why would anyone slander his name or this business.

These reviews are obviously vague and irrelevant. They are a way to make people think something completely opposite of what is really going on - I've been working with Bear Computer Repair - They don't use any old parts, they buy all new parts, they don't strip computers + who would have the audacity to make a Youtube video on him in the first place -

I love his service, all my girlfriends love his service, all my neighbors their service. I started working with them 2 years ago and I could tell you that yes they had problems, but why would anyone want to make it worse when someone is just trying to build a solid honest business. (I know because my son owns a business)

In the beginning of September 2011, I ordered a new battery for my HP. I paid them 40$ and waited one week. I called and Daniel said the battery was in and he'd deliver it. Nothing happened. I waited another two weeks. No call. More excuses. This went on for 4 months. Promises, then, nothing. On the fifth month, I went in with a friend, after his several attempts failed. Daniel having a meeting in the backroom, did not bother to come out and greet us, rather he said come back in one hour. I left him a note with the battery info (again). He promised AGAIN. Today I can calculate another 3 weeks that went by. NOTHING. I left messages on his facebook. No Response.

Now all I want is my 40$ back or the police will be involved next. I have had it.

He is an absolute DEADBEAT.

I love this place. I have constant updates from Daniel about new computer deals and pretty much everything else.

He calls me personally to tell me about ink prices and a lot of other products as they improve there store. I recently walked in and the place is completely renovated... I couldn't believe it. I could watch TV, drink coffee and wait until my computer is finished.

I got conned here by these people.

They don't know any more about fixing computers than a 5th grader.

What happened to me was a nightmare. I paid them nearly a hundred dollars only to bring it home and have it perform even worse.

Then I brought it to a reputable & authorized company where I was told that my computer seem like it was vandalized t the point of missing parts and shabby parts put in their place.

Once you see these people you should be able to tell they're not real computer technicians. But I trusted them and literally got robbed.

Total rip-off!

Aside from not knowing how to fix computers, I wasn't given my payment back and they had me wait an unreasonable time to give me back my untouched computer.

Beware, people, they are not professional except at scamming!

My first time at this particular store, and the customer service was above and beyond. The prices as well are reasonable. I would highly recommend this to everyone far and near. I will definitely be back if a issue arises with my PC.
