Provided by YP.comI brought my dog in and I was not quite sure what was wrong with her. She had been up all night pacing. She did not settle down all night and was panting heavily. I waited over two hours to be seen. The desk staff is very nice as was the tech. The woman vet (Alexia) was rude and condescending. She asked about previous health issues and I told her she had had ACL surgery. She seemed to become fixated with that. She took my dog out of the room for 20 more minutes. When she returned, all she wanted to do was talk about her knees. I told her I did not bring her in for that and she told me she needed to do a complete exam to determine what was wrong. Three and a half hours later and no where near knowing what was wrong with my dog--I finally told her I was done. I felt as if she had an agenda and did not address my concerns at all. Then she suggested other tests and X-rays. I declined. The only reason I went there was because it is Sunday. Never again.

Provided by YP.comThis was a great facility, but the male veterinarian we had was extremely rude and condescending. While the rest of the staff was nice, he was extremely unprofessional.

Provided by YP.comMy baby went in for collapsing trachea and difficulty breathing on 6/25 , he was there for 3 days. He went from 6.73lb on 6/25 to 5.88lb on 6/29/16. His breathing was much better once he was home but very sedated. My baby was serverely dehydrated and after only one night at home started seizing.. I called the Shelton Emergency VET that morning and they argued that he wasn't seizing (since being a nurse doesn't qualify me to know what a seizure is in an animal) - My boy had no history of seizures or neurological issues...brought him to my personal vet that morning at 830am with neurological decline. I also called VCA SHelton the evening on 6/28 after Ziggie being home for 9 hrs asking why he was so sedated and not coming out of it. I asked what meds he was given before coming home - well seems no one charted those. VCA Animal Hospitals can go to hell. How could they not notice my baby was getting dehydrated and/or not drinking...He was suppose to be watched 24hrs...

Provided by YPmobileMy Chance had an urinary tract infection and it was our first experience with them. We took our cat there at 1am scared out of our wits, they were so blasé blasé towards us and ppl w/ serious issues. The prices?!!?! Holy effing OMGG! All they did was put fluid under the skin, no meds for pain or relieving of symptoms, antibiotics to go. We spent 300$! 300$ smackers.
Sadly, Chance had chronic UTI infections and blockages. Surgery for a blockage was LESS than that visit!! My neighbor brought their puppy w/parvovirus to that vet at 2am and they charged them OVER 300$ to say he had Parvovirus?! Huh?! I said that to them earlier in the day. They didn't even give the puppy meds for symptom relief!! Nothing but a test for Parvovirus! Had they waited a few hours that money would of bought the treatment for the puppy! I called them furious, was put on hold, then the phone hung up after 15 minutes.
If you do NOT have good credit, credit cards, or a good 300$ plus, don't bother going there. You get jack for your money AND have to go to a more affordable vet a few hours later anyways. Ugh.
