My initial buying experience was pleasant. But when I took the gun back for what I believed was a manufacturer's defect, I was belittled the entire process for evening "questioning" that there could be a defect. I will never buy here again and I will spread the word too. Based on other reviews, I'm not the only one to get treated like sh*t by this guy.

My Dad and I have both bought and traded with Ron for several years and have always had a good experience. He has very fair prices and people need to remember that he does have a brick and mortar shop to maintain when trying to nickle and dime him. I know everyone wants the lowest price they can get on what they buy but sometimes the lowest price is not the best price, as Ron has a lot of gun/shooting experience that you wont get from some online warehouse. As a side note, when the BLACK GUN market went crazy in 2013 Ron kept very fair prices on his BLACK GUNs and ammo. Yes his prices were slighty higher but he also had to pay more from suppliers and I don't know of him gouging anyone at that time when $600 AR's were selling for $2000 at other places.
So give Ron a try and I think you will be happy you did.

I chose His and Hers Target Sports for several reasons. 1. It was only my second time purchasing anything firearms related myself. 2. I am originally from Sheridan and love supporting local businesses. I was very pleasantly surprised by this shop due to the other reviews I've read. I went in, was greeted, allowed to browse uninterrupted, and when I did ask a question the gentleman responded very politely and was really helpful. Nobody tried to sell me anything ridiculous. The other gentleman in the shop who checked me out only asked if I needed ammo. Overall just a fantastic experience and I will be purchasing all my guns and ammo from His&Hers Target Sports!

I called in to get a firearms tranfer done on a rifle I purchased from Minnesota. After a bit of conversation I replied to a question that it was a good buy beause I did not have to pay tax on it, at this point the gentleman refused service. That is not my issue. He ended the conversation with, "Next time your house burns down why dont you call Minnesota." That is rude and unprofesional. I had hoped to make this shop my go to for all of my gunsmithing needs but they have lost my business.

SHOCKING! !!!

Well I went to this shop on January 18th 2014 and never ever will go back.i took a saiga shotgun in to do some trading the younger guy was more than helpful then the owner asked what I was trading he saw the shotgun and stands there for 30 seconds or so and then begins to tell me that my gun in so many words is a piece of s**t and it doesnt shoot a certain ammo thats readily available for it like hes been at the range next to me and knows everything about the gun.im a stranger never done any dealing with this shop before.well im a little frustrated that hes standing pretty much insulting me and my gun he doesnt know wether or not that gun shoots good or not so I said well I know it shoots pretty much everything and ill take my business elsewhere I may have sounded rude but by that time I felt insulted and mistreated as a customer.then he asks why do I want to sell or trade it which is not relevant.i ask what does that matter I just want something different.he says well I dont want that gun in a rude manner instead of saying im not interested and that would be fine. Then the shocking part comes in front of kids and other customers I was told to GET THE F**K OUT!!!! no exaggeration I was in shock never in my life have as a customer been told that.long story short I will never give a penny to shop and I support local businesses thats one I will not support I suggest go somewhere else if looking to buy a firearm
