i grew up in this church, and I still go back and visit several times a year when I'm in town. I love the friendliness and devotion to God's Word. The Bible really is final authority, and their focus is on discipleship.

I have been going to this church for a long time and I stay there because I love the truth that is taught there. The pastor teaches you to find the answers by looking them up in scripture and in reference books that goes only with the bible. In this way a person learns and knows how to find Gods truth not by what is told only, but by Gods word. I love how it is a "teaching Gods word" kind of church and not a "because I told you so" kind of church.

I don't live in Sheridan anymore, but I grew up in this church and stay in contact with many people who attend there. This congregation is deeply committed to the Word of God and they are a very loving group of people. God always seems to be doing really great things with them.

I have been attending Calvary Baptist Church for 15+ years, and have gained more and more in depth understanding of God and His word as time goes by. We use the Bible to find answers to any questions we may have, as well as encouragement and help in Christian growth. I very much appreciate the warmth and love of the people who go there.

A small town church that welcomes all. The Bible is the final authority and is the primary study text.

Calvary is a great place to do real, in depth Bible study. When you have a question we turn to the Bible to answer it for John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them in truth; Your word is truth."

If you're a woman with half a brain who is capable of thinking for herself, stay away from this church! If you speak ANYTHING outside the box of official Southern Baptist "doctrines and traditions of man," THEY WILL CRUCIFY YOU!!!
