Although the buying experience was great I learned my lesson - Car Fax is a bad joke. I received a Car Fax stating no accidents on the used vehicle. After a month I noticed little things - bumper and door bolts missing, waterfall on the inside when washing the car, fender liner missing. Took it into a body shop to have the door adjusted - they said the door would have to be replaced ($2000). They showed me where the door had a new "skin" placed and was pulling away from the door. I asked for a owners manual to be sent to me at the time of the sale - none received yet. I need to add that I should have been more thorough in checking out the vehicle - but I was too trusting. Don't rely on Car Fax - you will get burned.

Amir at Sherman Oaks Exclusive is a great guy. This is a family owned and operated establishment that deals only with Land Rovers (as far as I can see). I took my car here for a break job, and they did it at 30% less than what the dealership quoted me. Still a little pricey but a great option and they are thoroughly professional.

I have really bad experience here. My car overheat so I took it there because it's near where I live. The estimate when I dropped off the car was $150 for the water pump replacement then they called and said it wasnt the pump, the radiator needed to be replaced and the charge would be $800. I agreed to go ahead with the repair. The day after I picked up the car, it died again. They took it back then called me just to say that another part needed to be changed for $400 which we didnt agree to repair as they refused to be responsible for the first repair which was not necessary. However, they went ahead and repaired it and insisted on charging for the second repair in addition to the first. It's like going to a dentist to have a tooth with caries removed but the dentist pulled the wrong tooth out, a good one then still tries to charge for the filling of the bad tooth. I also dont like this kind of practice, quoting one price to make you agree to drop off the car then raise the price later. I don't know if the manager had problem understanding English or he intentionally misunderstood me. I guess it was the latter. I will never go back to them. They try to cheat and deceive customers to make more money and this kind of practice is disgusting.
