Provided by YP.comMy Girlfriend is having to see a pain management doctor because of chronic back pain as well at Charcot foot disease. The constantly cancel her appointments, they send her scripts to the wrong pharmacy and they call in the wrong medicine. This douche bag needs to be reported to the AMA (American Medical Association)

Provided by YP.comI wish there was a place to pick negative stars as one is WAY to much. This guy is the biggest joke of a dr. My wife sees, well saw, this dr and was cancelled on 5 times in a row for injections, and that doesbt count the countless office visit cancellations. Do not go see this Quack, you will regret it I promise you that! How he still has a practice is beyond me, I suppose the only people that put up with this are people that just want pills. No normal person. Would put up with the constant cancellations, and the way he treats people. STAY CLEAR OF THIS GUY, HE BELONGS IN JAIL!

Provided by YP.comThe staff and the office itself are great. The chairs are comfortable and the people are friendly. Dr. Anderson however, does not let you finish a sentence, no matter what you are talking about. My husband went with me today and was shocked at the way the doctor acted. I moved here from Lewisville and had to find a new doctor, I was fine with the level of pain and the medication (I was only taking 2 pills a day, which is great) He doesn't prescribe the medication I was on so he moved me to something else 4 times a day. When my husband and I went in today for the two-week follow-up to see how the treatment was doing, he literally wouldn't let me finish. The medication was prescribe 1 every 4 hours, for me it would only last 2 1/2-3 hours and it wouldn't get me through the night. And it made me very tired. He said I'm not putting you anything else. My husband said 'so you would degrade her quality of life and not try something else?' The doctor pretty much told us to leave. We weren't able to question him about anything or find an alternative. It really was shocking and I have never had a doctor not want to know what is going on with their patient, and why would he move me to MORE pills per day. From what I understand, the whole reason for a pain management doctor is to get your pain level lower for longer periods of time and eventually (if possible) have you taking LESS medication.
I am absolutely appalled at the way we were treated. I would not recommend anyone go see him, because he does not care about his patients.

Provided by YP.comMy mom has been dealing with chronic neck and arm pain for the last 6 months or so. She was referred to this office by her doctors to receive injections and other treatments for her pain. Her pain level is excruciating and limits her from doing a lot of basic day-to-day activities. All of her other doctors rely on her being able to see this doctor because their treatments have to coincide with his. She has to wait a minimum of a month to even get an appointment at this office. She also lives 45 minutes away from this office. With that being said, after waiting a month to see Dr. Anderson, she was notified the day of her appointment that her appointment has been canceled. This has not only happened once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR TIMES. Every time his office has a juvenile excuse to cancel. Dr. Anderson I suggest that you re-evaluate your ethical obligation as a pain management doctor. Your clients depend on you to do your job! Not sometimes sir, but every time!

Provided by YP.comI am fighting rectal cancer & dealing with chronic pain. In November I called to make my first appt. to see the Dr. Waited a month for my appointment date of Dec. 29. It's a 45minute drive. Got to my appt. 15 minutes early, as requested.. Was told the Dr. had cancelled because he was sick. No call ahead of time to cancel. Was told that they would call me to reschedule. A week later no call back. I called to rescheduled. Another month wait! Feb. 4th. Get there 15 minutes early, Dr. was out of town. Was lied to by telling me that the office had called to cancel my appt. I had no calls or messages from them! Was told I could reschedule for another month away! B.S.! These people are incompetent and unprofessional and I will not be rescheduling with them!

Provided by SuperpagesI have a history of pain medication abuse & let Dr Anderson know that when I started seeing him. From the time I began seeing him till I was terminated as a patient of his I did and still do recommend him as an excellent pain management doctor. I would have given him 5 stars if he and his staff would have not treated me as if I was a lying, cheating, lowlife because of my inability to give a urine sample for analysis. I have a documented condition which renders me almost completely unable to urinate when asked to provide some for analysis. He and or his staff could have confirmed my condition with more than one physician. But he refused. I informed them that one of my dr's required me to provide a UA every time I was seen by him. That Dr. allowed me to stay in the office and continue to drink water until my body could not hold anymore (sometimes up to 5hrs). He didn't allow me to stay more than 30min. I asked him to send me to the hosp. to get a cath. and the answer was no. continued..

Provided by SuperpagesMy husband and I are new in the Sherman area so new seeing Dr. Anderson. We both see Dr. A for our back and neck pain. He is extrememely knowledgable in his field and when talking to me he is good at expressing it in a level I can understand. He is personable, and has a great sense of humor, which is so important to me. Dr. A listens and takes his time answering my questions. He is upfront about what type of treatment he has planned for me, makes sure I understand what he has told me and that he has answered all of my questions. He also is firm about what he expects from me as a patient. He makes it clear that he does have expectations and rules/policies I must adhere to to remain his patient. None of these expectations are unreasonable and they make sense, especially considering the practice of pain management. I recomend Dr. Anderson too many people and I hope they are as pleased as I have been.
