This guys don't know what they are doing. I don't know how they are in business. Their wk is.horrible & they charge so much because they "worked so hard at it", as they said. The wk they did for me I could had done better with my eyes closed..it is that bad!!!

We do not measure feet for people who do not want to purchase from us.

There are many reasons why but the main one is that we know our shoes and boots and how they fit. If we were to tell a person a size and they purchase footwear at another store they might not fit. Sizes in shoes and boots can vary with different manufactors so we only feel good about telling people sizes when they are going to purchase from us.

These are the best and most caring folks in the area. This has been a family owned business for at least 80 years. In lovely Downtown Sherman. They carry Born and Clark's shoes for ladies, western boots such as Justin and Acme for the family. They have also made repairs on shoes and boots for our family for as long as I can remember. The work they do on repairs is amazing. A nasty worn out pair of boots can be made almost as good as new. My father always insisted on getting soles and heels on any new pair of boots (he said they lasted longer that way) and the Risk family took extremely good care of us. They also do embroidery in the shop to personalize almost anything you can think of. Stop by the shop for personalized service. They will make you feel like one of the family. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I would not recommend Risk Boots to anyone. I needed help with a sizing for a pair of boots I was going to receive as a gift. I was turned down flat unless I bought from him. No thank you I thought. I would instead recommend Baskin's Western Wear next to Tractor Supply in Sherman. It literally took 3 minutes and the guy at Baskin's could not have been nicer about it.
