A copy of the email I sent to customer service and the letter I sent to the president of the company a week ago follow. I have yet to receive a response of any kind and have disputed the charge on my credit card. I will not pay for things I do not receive, And will not pay for things I receive late if the company that did not deliver as promised does not pay return shipping.

My family has purchased products from Ya-Hoo Baking for 30 years or more. The Original Ya-Hoo Cake became a Christmas morning breakfast tradition the first year we ordered one. No matter what state we lived in we ordered several items from Yahoo Baking every year.



For the last several years it seemed harder to get items. We moved [BACK] to the Dallas area 10 years ago and noticed the outpost stores had disappeared from the malls. We made the pilgrimage to Sherman several years in a row to make our purchases. A few years ago the onsite store was out of stock of everything we wanted to purchase. We returned home empty handed and place a telephone order. We were pleased to receive the Ya-Hoo Cakes before Christmas. Hooties seemed to be in short supply that year and arrived later.



This year we decided to beat the rush and placed our order before November 24th thinking this would allow enough time to receive our traditional Christmas Breakfast before Christmas. We received several e-mail notices that some items were backordered but reasoned that Christmas was still weeks away and everything would be fine. A week ago we received a phone call that our shipment was being packed but there was in problem with the credit card. It seems the expiration date was not correct on the order. This was corrected and we were promised we would have our order by Christmas.



We received some of the order late last week. [late in the week before Christmas] As Christmas was fast approaching we called Monday [before Christmas] to see where the Original Yahoo Cakes were. We were told that a large company had just purchased all the Ya-Hoo Cakes and that a loyal 30+ year customer whose order had been in the system for many weeks would not receive the Original Ya-Hoo Cakes they ordered.



This is no way to run a Company. This is the kind of customer disservice that has encouraged us to start a new tradition next Christmas. We and the other members of our extended family will find other bakeries to supply our holiday needs.



We WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANYTHING from Ya-Hoo Baking Company again. We will tell everyone we know how we have been treated. Our Christmas Breakfast will be a shadow of its former self.



I hope the "big company" that took our Ya-Hoo cakes will be a repeat customer and place their order earlier next year. Perhaps they will not change suppliers. We have changed supplier. Our orders, though small, were ongoing. You will NOT receive another. It is despicable y'all even had the nerve to charge our card on 12/16 for the cakes we have not received. Really BAD form!
