Caution to anyone trying to do business with this man in any way. He is a thief and is careless with personal information!



Looking at other reviews, it seems like they have lied/stolen from at least one other person as well.



I met the owner (Jorge Rivera) at Wal-Mart by chance and struck up a conversation. After hearing that my girlfriend and I were living in a hotel while I awaited CDL school, Jorge offered me some work to help him with moves. On October 30, I worked for him and was paid. On October 31, I worked for him and was told that because his bank was closed on weekends, he would have to pay me that next Monday. Monday came, I tried to call him from my number and my calls were dodged. Texts were not responded to.

I borrowed my girlfriend's cell phone, and he answered (evidence that he was dodging my calls). He then responded that he would pay me after he got done with his work for the day, around 6 or 7. At 8pm, I tried to contact him and he dodged my calls. Numerous attempts have been made to rectify this situation. After realizing that he was never going to be true to his word, his son obtained my girlfriend's cell phone number from him and prank called us to add insult to injury.

I don't really care about getting a prank call, but to know that my personal information wasn't safe with this business owner leaves me to believe he would be just as reckless with his customer's personal info.

Unfortunately, my move was not a good experience. They quoted me 2-3 hours max, but showed up with only one guy and small truck (even though I told him I had a lot of big furniture). The move took 5 hours and then he wanted me to pay for the full time even though the extra time was no fault of my own. On top of that, they damaged a piece of furniture. They agreed to pay for the damages, but never sent a check and will no longer respond to my contact attempts.

Today, A+ffordable Movers moved my items/furntiure. They were on time and moved me within the two hour time limit as promised because I had to get to work by a certain time. The moved was not rushed but top notch and very professional. Very respectful and nice. They did a walk through with me to make sure they got everything and when we got to the new place, they asked me where I wanted items my living room and bedroom items placed.
