I have had nothing but wonderf...

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Sherwood Foot Clinic over the past few years. Their staff is very courteous and the doctors patient, kind and really listen to me when I explain my foot problem(s). I would recommend their group to anyone needing a board certified podiatrist to help with any foot problem.

Uncomfortable and conned

My very first time to this Foot and Ankle Clinic was uncomfortable to say the least. As soon as I went to the patient room assigned to me, I noticed that I could not only hear what was going on in all of the rooms around me with paper thin walls, but also the clinic obviously had no consideration of privacy because they did not ever shut the patients' door. The first thing the podiatrist said to me (AFTER I told him that I had a reoccurring plantar wart problem that I was COMPLETELY aware of) was that it was not a wart, that it was a corn. I for a fact knew it was not a corn and told him that was incorrect. He began to scrape the skin around the plantar, and came to the conclusion that I was correct. The next part was the most uncomforting to me. He then sent me for an X-Ray(Why???). He claimed it was to see if I had to have surgery on my toes to correct the slight imperfections on another spot he thought was a corn(which is NOT.). Then the clinic continued by telling me to buy a $35 dollar bottle of their cream, when it is clearly not necessary to buy it when hydrogen peroxide and a tube of Neosporin suffices the same. Right before the clinic was going to remove the plantar, they pulled out their tools for removal and their bottles of medicine, and set their alcohol cover q-tips just on the bare surface of the counter (where everything in that office has touched at some point) , which seemed extremely unsanitary. I felt extremely uncomfortable at this point, and I decided to tell the clinic that I would reschedule for another day. (Which I will.. ELSEWHERE.) When checking out, they attempted to charge me $45 for the X-Ray, when I know that my insurance covers them completely. Overall, I felt like my experience was extremely unprofessional, and I felt conned the entire time. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I witnessed a lot of senior citizens coming in to this place, and heard a lot of them being conned into buying these ridiculous products in the other rooms. I refuse to fall for these antics, and I hope this review will help others to realize that you cannot always trust professionals. They are out to get your money any way that they can. Do your research like I did before going into a clinic like this and be informed before they con you as well.
