Providence Christian School, formerly known as Placerville Christian School, is an interdenominational school that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade eight. It is a nonprofit organization that provides educational services to more than 200 students. The school offers classes in math, English, history, Bible, reading, art and Spanish. It also provides extracurricular activities that include choir, band, cross-country, and track and field. Providence Christian School organizes parent-teacher conferences. Additionally, the school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and publishes a newsletter. It supplies a range of items, such as pens, pencils, dictionaries and calculators. Located in Shingle Springs, Calif., Providence Christian School has been serving since 1978.
