Abram E. Kirschenbaum, MD, FAAOS, specializes in hand surgery, including operative and nonoperative treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, cubital tunnel syndrome, radial tunnel syndrome and Dupuytrens contracture. He also treats disorders of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, including fracturess, nonunions, dislocations, tennis elbow, wrist and elbow instability, tendonitis, tendon lacerations, tendon ruptures, tumors, arthritis, sports injuries, nerve injuries and congenital disorders of the upper limbs. Dr. Kirschenbaum has served as Secretary, Vice President and President of the New York Society for Surgery of the Hand. He has been a clinical instructor for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Newark and has been an instructor in hand surgery for the Monmouth County Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program.
