American Indian Christian Mission, founded in 1969, is a ministry of brotherhood of independent churches called the Christian Churches. It operates a school known as the American Indian Christian School offering classes from grades kindergarten through ninth. Its school s curriculum includes language study, science, social studies, mathematics, Bible study, music and arts and offers summer programs for Native American children. It has a mobile bus ministry that travels to more than 19 different communities in Fort Apache, Ariz., where children come to the bus for Bible lessons, crafts and recreation activities. AICM operates as an independent organization guided by a board of directors who are active members of the Christian Churches. It is located in Show Low, Ariz.
