I went to the Horne Dealership that handles the older vehicles. The sign reads guarantied acceptance. I went through the process of buying a truck from them--they were very polite. I went to pick up the truck and signed the paperwork, I asked several times if it was a done deal and was told that it was. So thinking that the truck was mine, I put some time and money into it. A few days later, I received a message saying that I was not approved and that I needed to bring the truck back. Of course I was upset, mainly because I was told it was a done deal, so I brought the truck back. I then emailed the manager and explained that I had put some money and time into the vehicle and would like reimbursement. His answer was he would be happy to reimburse me for any out of pocket expenses-- I am still waiting for the check. I am not upset that I was not approved, I realize that my credit needs work. I am upset because I was told that it was "a done deal" when it fact it was not and I put money into the truck. I am upset because their sign says guaranteed acceptance which I think is somewhat misleading. I am writing this so that no one else goes through the pain and trouble that I did, I hope that if you are reading this you will really look into who you do business with and make sure that it really is a done deal before you take it home.
