We purchased 12 chicks on 3/16/16. A friend of ours and my wife were going to raise chickens for the eggs. Both my friend and I are disabled. but he built a chicken coop and we started to raise the chicks. We were very careful to wipe them off every day and purchased the special feeders and water supply. The first 3 days we lost 3 chicks every evening we took them in the house to keep them warm with a heat lamp but still 3 died Now they are Growing....... 7 of the remaining are roosters. that leaves us with 2 chickens. I went to the Tractor Supply in Show Low yesterday and talked to the manager. He was very matter of fact " so what do you want me to do . That's why there so cheep I don't know if it was arrogance or ignorance. But customer satisfaction it was not.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. THE EMPLOYES HAVE NO CLUE, AND THE MANAGEMENT DOESENT CARE.

1st visit to this store. Went in an lady at counter asked if i needed help. I said yes, my daughter would like a baby chic for her bday. She hollered at old guy pricing items to assist me with the chics. He proceeded by pointing and telling me to head straight and make a left turn. We took his directions and found the chics. I told my daughter lookfor the one she wants. While doing so I decided that i would also buy a duckling for companionship forthe chic. We picked out the ones we wanted and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally I walked back up front and foundthe man who was to "assist" still pricing items. I asked him if we were to get our own chics, he said no and that he would be right there, so i walked back to wait for him. When he finally came over he got out a box and asked which ones we like. I told him that id like one duckling and my daughter has a chic picked out. He then told me that i could not buy just one, if i wanted ducklings i would need to buy a two minimum and if i wanted chickens i would need to buy a minimum of six! I said that I would take my money elsewhere. I went to Cal Ranch a little ways up the road and they sold me exactly what my daughter and i wanted and quickly assisted us with one duckling and one chic. In the future, my money will go to competitors store.
