Darsit Shah, MD was an associate at CentralJersey Otolaryngology since 1999. Prior to his training, Dr. Shah completed the prestigious Six Year AcceleratedMedical Program graduating Suma Cum Laude atHahnemann University Medical School. He did hisresidency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center with particularemphasis in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. He thencompleted a subspecialty fellowship at the MichiganEar Institute in Otology and Neuro-Otology. Previously,he was in practice in New York with staff and academicaffiliations with Mt. Sinai Medical Center from 1996-1999.He has been board-certified in Otolaryngology / Head &Neck Surgery since 1997. He has authored a number ofpeer-reviewed publications and continues to be active inresearch and teaching.Dr. Shah is an assistant clinical Professor at DrexelUniversity Medical School. He is the Co-Director of theHead and Neck Cancer Center at Monmouth MedicalCenter. He also formerly served as the Chief of theDepartment of Otolaryngology at Monmouth MedicalCenter. His special area of interests includes Headand Neck Oncology, Thyroid and Parathyroid diseasemanagement, and the treatment of acute and chronic eardisease. Dr. Shah has been recognized for excellence inmedicine by New Jersey Top Docs (2007-2013), MetroNY (2011-2013), New Jersey Top Cancer Doctors (2012-2013), and local and national news publications.
