For the second time within a month, my Kia Sorrento received a recall. Both times I brought my car in for the service department to fix the recall I had issues with the service department. This last recall I scheduled on December 19, 2015 at 8AM, 3 weeks prior to drop off. I planned on leaving my car and returning at 10:30AM. The 8Am was scheduled and the pick up time was marked on the white envelope I left the car keys in.

Upon my return to KIA Dealership in Turnersville, NJ, I was upset to learn my car was NOT even brought into the garage to be looked at. After another hour of waiting, and everyone else seated gone, my car was done. I got into my car and saw that ALL my personal items from the middle console were thrown into a huge over sized boxed that was stuffed in my back seat with 3 car seats. Needless to say, I walked back into the shop and asked about it. I explained to them that if that was the area they needed to get to the recall, they should have allowed me to clear the space for them.

Again, getting into my car and pulling away at this point, FOUR of my dash board lights are on!! I, of course, turned around and marched right back in. They told me some BS about how these lights have nothing to do with what they did and how these lights must have been on before prior to the car being here.



3 strikes....I walked out!

Before I did, I made a point to tell them that this is the MAIN reason why I DO NOT bring my car for service to the dealership.

Beware of the service department! (no rating!)
