Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Celina, graduating with honors from Celina High School. He completed his undergraduate work with honors at The Ohio State University and received his medical degree from The University of Toledo College of Medicine. Dr. Johnson then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Johnson is Board Certified. Dr. Johnson possesses extensive knowledge of cutting-edge cataract surgery techniques; advanced treatment options for glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma procedures such as Kahook Dual blade and iStent inject. He is also using the new Durysta ocular implant for Glaucoma treatment to reduce the need for drops.
