The Fry Fire District was established in 1965 as a fire district and provides fire, rescue, hazardous materials, wildland and emergency medical services to the citizens of the Fry Fire District and the surrounding areas in the city of Sierra Vista, Ariz. It provides fire and emergency management protection services to an area of more than 180 square miles. The Fry Fire District has been operational for nearly 50 years. The district s equipment includes various ambulances, fire engines, and brush and heavy trucks, as well as several additional units, including rapid rescue vehicles, trauma trailers and special operation vans. The Fry Fire District supports and conducts a variety of public education programs related to fire, car and helmet safety classes.
