Managing and promoting the city's award-winning Public Transit System, Environmental Operations Park, Pedro Castro Government Maintenance Center and Sierra Vista Municipal Airport continues to be a priority for the Sierra Vista Public Works Department. Located in Sierra Vista, Ariz., the nearly 100 full-time and part-time men and women who work in the department are said to mirror the department s six values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, pride, customer service and employee respect. The Sierra Vista Public Works Department consists of four major functional divisions, which include the administrative services division, engineering services division, operations and maintenance division and public transportation services division, which oversees the airport and public transit system.
