Worst Nightmare

I found out I was pregnant and decided on Dr. Stroud due to the closeness to my home and good things I had heard. When I informed Dr. Stroud of having an AB Rh variant blood type and the fact that my fiancée had an O negative blood type and my concerns. Dr. Stroud assured me that I should not worry and that things would be fine. After 2 appointments I ended up on the ER with vaginal bleeding. I was informed that I should see my OBGYN (Dr. Stroud) as soon as possible. When I attempted to make an appointment the receptionist was very rude and informed me that they could not work me in for a month. When I informed her that the ER doctor had indicated I needed to see Dr. Stroud ASAP she acted as though I asked her to move the world. She got me into an emergency appointment later in the day. I was advised by Dr. Stroud that everything was fine and it was implantation bleeding and "you just need to go home, put your feet up l, and have a hot Toddy". So now he is suggesting alcohol to a pregnant woman. I go home and about my life and in less than a week the bleeding is back and more severe. Again I go to the ER. The nurses indicate I am having a miscarriage and I need to inform my doctor. I once again made an emergency appointment and was advised " these things happen", "you'll have time to make more babies", " 10% of all women miscarriage their first pregnancy". I get asked if I wanted to try for another baby in the near future. When I informed him I was not emotionally well enough to do so and needed time to process my grief he gave me a depo shot. I found out later after Dr. Stroud refused to do a DNC as he wanted me to "pass the material and fetus naturally". After 3 months of still having a dead fetus inside of me and changing doctors I passed everything naturally but did not stop bleeding for five months and suffered from severe iron deficiency and severely anemic. Needless to say I changed OBGYN's as every time I attempted to make an appointment I was rescheduled, hung up on, or told I was being dramatic about a natural process. I changed OBGYN's and my new OBGYN informed me that depo acts as an anticoagulant and was causing me to bleed more profusely. I was also informed that a probable cause of my miscarriage was the lack of testing done by Dr. Stroud and that if proper blood work had been done treatments could have been given to prevent my miscarriage.

I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.
