Kelly P. Holder, DO, FACOG, FASAM, MA, IBCLC
475 Progress Blvd, Siler City, NC 27344
I began my career in public health, and it was while conducting research in Somalia that I realized my desire to become a physician and enter the field of obstetrics and gynecology. I saw that women had the ability to affect generational and societal change, and it was my hope to become a physician who could empower women to live healthy lives, raise healthy children and create healthy communities. I believe in providing high-quality, culturally sensitive and individualized care to women of all ages and from all walks of life. I strive to provide compassionate care for the whole person-physically, emotionally and spiritually. My areas of clinical interest include rural womens health and maternity care, abnormal bleeding, cervical dysplasia, obesity, substance and alcohol use in pregnancy, and adolescent gynecology. Outside of work, I enjoy running, going to Disney World, and spending time with my husband and five children.
