Sold me a truck, less than 500 miles later the engine blows. Mechanic states that someone disconnected the check engine light as well as a cylinder coil pack to hide the fact that cylinder was taking on radiator fluid. Also by the looks of that spark plug it had been a ongoing problem for awhile.

When I was looking for a good used car my sister referred me here because she had just bought a new car from them. Lynn and the sales staff were very nice. I told him what my budget was and what payment I could afford and he worked with me to get me into the right car. Love my new to me 2012 Ford Fusion.

I purchased a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Welford Harris in November 2014. This was the best experience ever and I have bought a lot of cars from other places. From day one everyone made me feel welcomed and valued. There were no gimmicks or tricks, just straight-forward honest business. I drove away in the vehicle I wanted at a great price. Since purchasing I've had the pleasure of interacting with the service department. They are knowledgeable and professional. From my experience, Welford Harris is the best all around dealer in the state. I've referred friends and family to them and will continue to do so. Next time I'm in the market for a new or used vehicle they will be the first place I stop.

Excellent sales information here. Did not get the runaround like I did in Pittsboro from the dealer and his salesman Doug. Welford was honest and did not talk in circles. I would do business with this dealer. Forget the others and make your destination here. Only 10 minutes from Pittsboro.

they have a big selection and look like a real dealer. Not a big barn converted into a show room.

We bought our first vehicle from Welford Harris two weeks ago. It will be the last vehicle we buy from them. When we test drove the car, the check engine and tire pressure lights were on. We made an offer on the car contingent upon the dealership fixing the problems causing the lights. They accepted our offer and took the car to the service department. A while later, they said everything was fixed and the car passed inspection. Three days later, both lights came back on. Apparently they put air in the tires and cleared the check engine code. When I questioned them about taking care of the codes, our salesman said the service department could not find any tire leaks - they were just low on air. As for the check engine light, he seemed to have amnesia because he didn't remember the check engine light. He said the service department wouldn't be able to clear the code on a Toyota anyway. That's a ridiculous statement because I know very little about cars, but I know how to temporarily clear a check engine code! Whenever I was on hold, I had to listen to their commercial about their quality service and how they've provided honesty and integrity for 46 years. Well, according to the ad, they've been in business since 1964 - that's 50 years. I guess their days of honesty and integrity are over!!! Stay away from these crooks!

Poor professionalism

I went with money in hand to purchase a new 2010 ranger which had a 3000 rebate on it (verified by internet and other dealerships) and owner of company told me he doesn't plan on giving away his trucks and that he would not sell with rebate, and would rather wait to trade with another dealer to get his full amount. And kept trying to get me to buy a very overpriced used truck. I went 8 miles away and purchased my vehicle through Liberty Ford, no problems and am very happy with my purchase. Very disappointed with Welford Harris, and that is why they are not doing very well, the inside smells like a 40 yr old basement with carpet as old. So look elsewhere if you are thinking of getting even your rebate, because you won't here.
