Provided by YP.comI am so happy I found Kindness Animal Hospital. I'm pretty picky about my pets and I want the best for them so I did my research. I found out they are up to date with the latest equipment, such as an ultrasound, which Dr. Z is very good at performing (other hospitals actually send patients to Kindness sometimes to get an ultrasound), and a laser that is the same as human athletes use, and the veterinarians and staff there are concerned about pain management and comfort of my dog. Every time I go in for my dog's yearly exam they ask me about the vaccines and do not do unnecessary vaccines. I feel like they do cost a little bit more but they are worth it because they do such a great job and I am 100% sure my pets are getting the very best care and I am comfortable with them.

Provided by YP.comI was in there Tuesday which prompted my review. I can't say enough good things about this animal hospital. I moved here about a year ago from Frederick, MD and was looking for a closer vet for my 2 cats and 2 dogs. With this many pets, we have a pretty close relationship with the vet!! So our vet in Frederick recommended Kindness and I'm glad they did. I have seen the owner, Dr. Zolkewicz and Dr. Moore and Dr. Hoffield and I like them all. Dr. Z (as he is known as) is able to strike that balance of being fun and also professional at the same time. I always know he cares about my pets and wants the best for them. He performs ultrasound, is concerned about pain, and they have a laser there that has helped my arthritic lab immensely!! No drugs and his pain is less and he is more mobile. When I call there, I get a call back within the same day. I find the prices at Kindness to be extremely reasonable- I'm getting a lot for my dollar!! My pets seem to like the staff there and I have absolutely no complaints about the place.

Provided by SuperpagesI have been coming to Kindness Animal Hospital for over 15 years. It changed owners about 4 years ago and it has been getting even better since then. What I really love about this hospital is that they treat their patients as if they are humans (i.e. the most updated medical care, pain relief, highly advanced diagnostics). They really understand that my dog is like my child and I want the absolute best for her. They can perform ultrasound, which many hospitals can not, they have liscenced nurses monitor my girl during surgery and anesthesia, and the front desk staff is top notch. When I call with a question, I get a return call- usually the same day- and I am not left feeling rushed. I recommend this practice to anyone who loves their pet and wants the best possible care. You can't go wrong with Kindness Animal Hospital- especially Dr. Zolkiewicz (the owner) or Dr. Moore. I have seen all the doctors, though, and they are all excellent.

Provided by YP.comMarc Katz, veterinarian at Kindness Animal Hospital, was disciplined by the Maryland State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners for violating the state practice act by leaving an unlicensed, unsupervised person alone who administered an insulin injection to my cat. He used the wrong syringe, causing a massive insulin overdose, nearly killing my cat and causing permanent brain damage. The disciplinary action is a legal public record document issued by an agency of the Maryland State government. I can provide this document upon request and it is available on the web.
I believe that these people are INEXCUSABLY careless with their patients lives. Don't let your pet be their next victim.

Provided by SuperpagesI have used Kindness as the primary care for all my cats for as long as I can remember. Has a separate waiting room for felines. Not many others do. On occasion will run into a tech who is having a bad life and taking it out on the world but very rare. Doctors are approachable and flexible. I highly recommend this vet.

Provided by SuperpagesKindness Animal Hospital's veterinarian and owner was found in Violation of the Veterinary Practice Act by the Maryland State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners in a case involving my cat. THIS IS A MATTER OF PUBLIC RECORD, Maryland Docket 05-005.They were "caring" for my diabetic cat, and left my cat in the care of the vet's son instead of a licensed tech. His son used the wrong syringe to give my cat his insulin (according to their own admissions) and subsequently my cat was found hypoglycemic and having massive seizures. They never even called me to tell me what was going on -- they dropped my cat off at other hospital and left a note saying if my cat died they would be back to pick up his dead body the next day!In my opinion, they are dishonest, negligent, and incompetent. My cat was dramatically brain damaged when he left there, and never recovered. My biggest regret in life is having entrusted my precious boy to these people.
