Great selection of fish and the staff are very knowledgeable.

The owner, Steve, is very friendly and helpful in accommodating his customers finding what they need eventho they have no clue sometimes. The staff is very knowledgable in regards to the product that is available, if not available, they will go out of their way to find it.

I have been going here for close to forty years. Being in the hobby for quite some time. I can say with credibility that these guys know their stuff. All are devout hobbyists themselves. Ask them a question and you will get an honest, complete answer - a rarity in the business. The store is somewhat small, and not the shiniest, but all the fish are healthy (note the lack of dead or almost dead fish in tanks compared to other stores). Prices are competitive, and great deals can be had. Good variety, especially african cichlids & saltwater. They sell live blackworms as well, which is hard to find in the area. I highly recommend.

Healthy pets, good advice and great prices are what you'll find here. I have never had much luck with fish before but recently purchased a Beta Fish at Tropical Lagoon and am proud to say that after 6 months he's thriving! The owner Steve is very knowledgeable and is always on hand to tell you how to take care of your pet unlike some shops where a less than knowledgeable clerk is running the store. The prices can't be beat, check them out.

Don't be fooled, this little shop-stand is the REAL McKOY!!! Around every corner there lies one breathtaking discovery after another. Go ahead and shop somewhere else, IF you want to make a huge mistake that is... Don't miss the selection and value.
