Rob has the ability to engage a person at a level which is challenging but always feels safe. He is very professional in his approach and is able to focus on the issues at hand. I would recommend Rob to anyone who is struggling and needs support to deal with whatever they are going through.

We have been married for 15 years. A year or so ago we decided that our marriage could use a little help in the communications department. We started visiting with Rob. Our visits start out with casual conversation. Rob has the ability to listen and ask the tough questions to get you were you need to be. He knows how to address the issues with compassion and support. He has helped us to communicate better, to slow down and really listen to the other person. Rob has helped us to understand our backgrounds (family of origin) and how this affects each of us. This has been very good for our marriage, and has strengthened our marriage. We only wish we would have done this sooner.

Rob is a wonderful counselor. He offers an approach that is caring, compassionate, forthright and wise. He has the ability to address what really needs attention, while fully supporting you.

"A little over 1 1/2 years ago, our beautiful daughter was in the throes of a deep depression. Since she has always been private with both her joy as well as her pain, no one around her saw how deeply hurting she was. Through her sessions with Rob, we watched our daughter grow into someone more comfortable in sharing her feelings - both positive and negative.  I also saw my relationship with her improve greatly. One concern I've heard from many parents when their child enters therapy is the fear that the counselor will "side" with the child and turn them against the parents. In our experience, this couldn't be further from the truth. Our relationship with our daughter became much more solid. She also became more sociable, courteous, and open with us. Our family is immeasurably better for having had Rob as our daughter's therapist.
