Coco Beach Tanning Salon is committed to providing the best tanning experience every time you walk through our doors. Started in 1976, as Tanning World, Coco Beach is arguably Simi Valley’s oldest tanning salon. But, don’t let the age fool you into thinking the salon is outdated. In early 2010, new owners purchased the salon to turn it into Simi Valley’s premier tanning salon. They moved the location to expand the salon, and they purchased new and state of the art equipment to better serve the residents of Simi Valley.

Much improved-highly recommend

I have been a customer of this business before (back in 2008) and now (in 2010). I quit going to the salon in 2008 when the previous owners were running it off of Erringer and Cochran because the young girls were out of control and clearly not interested in customer service.

I went to different tanning salons around town until I rediscovered Coco in the center off LA Avenue and Erringer, over by Baskin Robbins. I had no idea the company had been purchased and revamped, and what a nice surprise that was! The difference is day and night. The owners and employees are friendly, very customer service oriented and quick to jump and help when you walk in. The facility is clean, they have good beds and nice decor. The prices are good- they are just as competitive as anyone else in this city. They also offer many specials and are very communicative on Facebook- giving you deals if you add them to your FB friend list.

They also stick to their posted hours, which is important to me because I work full time and have a family so I'm on a tight schedule. It would irritate me when I'd show up at another tanning salon (on Madera) when they said they'd be open and sit and wait for 20 minutes until the teenage girl with a hangover decided to finally show up to unlock the doors. By then it was usually too late for me to tan, I'd have to start driving to work.

I highly recommend going to Coco. It's been a great experience and I'm happy I finally found my tanning "home".
