Located in Simi Valley, Calif., the Rancho Madera Community Park s facilities include a soccer field, restrooms, picnic and play areas, and basketball, shuffleboard and volleyball courts. In addition, it features an amphitheater, gazebo, hiking trail and multipurpose room. The park is owned and operated by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, which also operates various community centers, golf courses, picnic pavilions and equestrian facilities. The district organizes several events that include arts and crafts fairs, dance shows and various contests. It has established more than 50 parks and maintains over 5,600 acres of open space that is provided for hiking, biking and horseback riding activities.
