I put together a new bike from the box and wanted it to be checked. I also needed help putting a back rack on and a couple other adjustments, like the kickstand, etc.. I called EVERY bike shop in Simi and they all wanted from $30+ to $50 to check it out and fix whatever was needed. The last place I went was Simi Bike Works. Blake went over every inch of the bike, put the rack on (because I couldn't find the right screws to fit), he checked it all out, fixed the seat, kickstand and cables. Christine, I think her name is, sold me a great $11+ kickstand for $7.... and ALL that Blake did, he did not charge me a dime !!! The bike runs perfect and I feel safe knowing it's been checked by an expert. I couldn't find attitudes or prices in the other shops that I did here. So OF COURSE I would recommend them over all the others. I hope they see my review so they know how much I appreciate all they did for me!

This appears to be a very nice shop. It seems to be more geared towards the BMX type, great bike selections and all kinds of parts for BMXers. My son and nephew - teenagers were real impressed with the place. My son had me stop in to check it out. I was impressed with the pricing and the warm support from the staff. Very friendly. While we did not purchase anything or have anything serviced. My son and I do plan to go back. I will also add that I did see many other types of bikes and accessories available: Mtn Bike and Beach type cruises.. So something for everyone.
