Provided by YPmobileGreat bunch of guys to fix or repair your computer. I've been going here for years and every dime well spent. Devon knows his stuff and is a fair guy to work with. To this day I still bring him my computer's [more than one] and get them back with a smile...=} Go there one time and I bet you will go back when you need your computer repaired or up dated with the times......Miles.

Provided by YP.comI brought my computer to Devin and Co 10/31/2009 because it was running slow - but never the less still running. I was given a receipt for $75.00 flat charge to fix my computer. Well after a couple of weeks I heard nothing, I called numerous times and was told it was next to go on the bench, finally in early January 2010 it did go on the bench. I had a call back and was told the hard drive was bad and needed to be replaced. I agreed to this work, 6+ weeks later (March 2010) I still had no word regarding my computer and sent an email to Devin (the owner I believe) and got back an email asking me for a external hard drive and I asked that he please explain in laymans terms what the issue was and this was his reply:
"Machine IS OLD. After we tested the hard disk drive tested bad, replaced with new one, went to install windows, neither CD rom was working., the COA sticker on the side was gone (that is the code to-reinstall windows) so we where going to just give you another COA to install windows, when trying to install windows with no success several different ways, that did not work, so we can go no futher, there was more than a bad hard disk drive, the machine is older and past it’s time. We where tog et a backup done, that is 20GB Plus to big to fit on cd and or dvd, I do have a used emachines, I can do, and put your backup on that computer, let me know I can get it done today and will be $100.00
They ended up giving me a dinosaur with a virus for $100, could not even open multiple web pages without running out of memory. It came with a 30 day garauntee which I asked for a replacement immediately and never received it. As a matter of fact I only heard from Devin when he found about this review and told me he would get me a new computer if he had to, once again he did not do what he said. My daughter had the same problem with this business. Buyer beware!!
I don't understand why a computer repair place can not repair a computer but bottom line is now I do not have a computer at all thanks to Simi Valley Computers!
Never told them it would be $100.00 for data backup, that was for a ANOTHER NEWER MACHINE to replace a 10 year old plus outdated dell w/bad roms bad hard disk drive no windows code to reinstall windows, ended up putting there data on a better newer PC with there data for only $50.00! Yes we could fix it, if it was worth fixing, this machine was not worth putting money into, and IF the machine was running, why did you bring in for repair? WE NEVER KILLED IT, AGE DID! They do not last for ever,
