We have always enjoyed going to Chilis in Simsbury, but that was not the case last Friday. We arrived at 5 and were told there would be a a 15 - 20 minute wait. There was one couple ahead of us and a half of the dining room was empty. Very disappointed in the customer service and we just left.

Ribeye steak dinner was satisfying and complete, along with my awesome cheesecake for dessert. My husband had the miniburgers and turned out to be plenty (if not more than enough) for this 6' - 200lb. guy. BUT - MOST OF ALL- OUR ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDED BY OUR WAITRESS, MARION, WAS THE HIGHLIGHT. Conversation with her was identifiable, but mostly hysterical. It was a rainy, cold day that day and boy, did I need to smile - SHE MADE ME LAUGH. I consider that the best medicine anyone could get - so between the great food and the great laughter, our day ended happy and complete. Thanks Marion.

Newer menu, exceptional burgers and ribs. The Presidente never dissapoints.
