Provided by YP.comFirst let me say, I have no financial interest whatsoever in this place. I think many rave reviews of places are written by the owners. I have nothing to do with Harvest, nor does anyone I know - except as a long-time patron.
The service here is attentive, friendly... outstanding, really.
The variety on their menu is among the most varied and interesting I've ever seen. It's hard to believe they can offer so many things, and keep it all in the good-to-excellent range, day in and day out.
The coffee is ALWAYS so, so good, as is their tea, iced coffee, iced tea, seltzer water and other beverages.
And I've never been anywhere - in five decades of dining out - that had more kinds of bread - all baked on the premises, all incredibly delicious.
The atmosphere is relaxed. Casual. Real. If you want pretentious, go elsewhere.
The only caveat I have is that their Sunday brunch usually has a half hour-plus wait to be seated. Not surprising, since this is, all things considered, the best cafe' in Connecticut.
