Westminister School is a college-preparatory, independent, coeducational school that provides education to more than 350 students in grades nine through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes liberal arts, foreign language, English, math, fine and performing arts, science, social studies, health and physical education. It has a counseling center that provides information on career planning, scholarship, financial aid, tutoring opportunities and college information. The school has a library media center that offers a collection of search engines, educational Web sites, research tools, books and videos in order to provide additional information to students. Established in 1888, Westminister School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and is located in Simsbury, Conn.
