I am a retired Wisconsin United Methodist pastor, currently visiting a variety of churches in in my first year of retirement. On a recent visit to Sioux Falls to visit family, my spouse and I attended this church. We were welcomed warmly by several people before worship. The opening prelude (a piano/cello duet) was so moving it brought me to tears. The liturgy was easy to follow and the theme of the day was consistently followed throughout. The sermon was one of the best ones I've heard in the last six months of visiting churches. The congregation's commitment to diversity and inclusion was very clear. The sanctuary was beautiful and the men's vocal ensemble did a terrific job too. I am so glad I had a chance to worship with First Congregational Church in Sioux Falls and highly recommend it.
