LOST MY DOG. My vacation was cut short and ruined. This kennel is not qualified to care for small animals. I left my two chihuahuas there this last weekend (the first time they have ever been kenneled) and one of them got loose in the city. The kennels have a gap so small dogs can get out anytime. My other dog that didn't get loose was really scared when we picked her up. My lost dog was picked up by animal control with minor bumps and soreness but this could have ended horribly. I have been receiving calls from this kennel asking how they can fix this, and they can't. Hush money? No. If your dog is less than 15 lbs., go elsewhere. If it's bigger this may be the kennel for you. And the 24 hour pickup was handy when I had to pick up my other dog early so they didn't loose her too.

This is an awesome kennel! The only one located in town (Sioux Falls, SD) with 24 hour access. The owner treats the animals as if they were his own. They come back smelling clean. I have been using this kennel for years. My two Shih Tzus use the indoor/outdoor run with no problems plus I can pick them up on a Sunday; whereas, with most kennels you will have to wait until the next day and incur another daily charge. I would tell anyone and everyone to use this kennel because it doesn't get any better than this one.

Nothing but positive experiences at Hidden Paradise. I love being able to go back and see where my dog is staying. The indoor/outdoor spaces are always very clean and well maintained. We also love having the ability to pick up our dog after hours if we return from a trip late a night. The owner is very friendly and definitely cares about the well being the animals.

From the time we dropped off our 2 dogs to the late pickup we and the girls have never had a better experience with a kennel. The staff was very friend not only to me but played with the dogs right away making them feel comfortable. when we picked them up they didn't show the same negative behavior as they have with previous kennels, but were happy and not stressed. I highly recommed HIDDEN PARADISE to anyone who would ask!
