My parents were on their first cross country to visit my dads brother from Wyoming and meet up in Montana, pulling a camper that they just bought a week ago!! Right out of Sioux Falls the transmission begins to slip, sending both of them into a panic mode and ofcourse me being 1200 miles away in PA all I can do is keep them calm. I called 4 shops in the area and on pure conversation with shops, I chose Jay Egge! My parents were able to get set up in a campground and drove into Egge. Egge staff jumped right in the truck and took it out for diagnosis, keep in mind this is a Monday around 3:30, they then took my parents back to camp. Tuesday morning they called with diagnosis and several options. By Tuesday evening at 5 they had the truck almost ready to go with a completely rebuilt transmission. Wednesday morning they are ready to continue on their trip. Thank you JAY EGGE and STAFF!!!!

Excellent Customer Service

I don't believe you will find a better automatic transmission repair shop anywhere. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with Todd and his Technicians. They will go the extra mile to make certqain the repair is done right. I have experienced about five different transmission failures in the past decade. Each time Todd and his Techs have done the repairs. On one ocassion the repairs were quite troublesome. Todd was very persistent getting the repair done right. Long story short, The transmission was removed several times for repairs. Todd tried everything to make this transmission work right. After several weeks of trying to repair the transmission he finally found out the problem was not in the transmission at all. The problem was in the electronic control module. He installed a used module and the problem was solved.After all the additional time and labor was spent to resolve this problem Todd only billed for the used electronic module. be aware, this company is very bad, never fixes things right, will charge you money for parts they never install
