Regrettably, I am compelled to make a complaint. For what it is worth, I cannot recommend. Issues involve: dirty carpet and room reeked of odor; had to spray it out with LYSOL, may be due to dirty carpet, stained my socks, bummer! When asked they refused to give a different room. Road noise! Public pool, who knew! It took forever to get privileges points! The hotel manager (Jeff) overstepped his bounds when complaints were made, passed the buck and does not deliver. The managers (Jeff) attitude toward the staff, his public barrage to the staff about undue issues was out of line. This is, of course, the epitome of unprofessionalism. Furthermore, the laws of reciprocity (doing unto others as you would have them do unto you) always work against people who behave such as this. The staff never smiled it seemed, how could they with that type atmosphere to work in. WOW, what can I say, it is really a 2-star hotel masquerading as a 4-star. At this point, no desire to stay there again!



It goes without saying, Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. This was actually the second time I stayed there within a year. There will be no third! You want to believe that you could have caught someone on a bad day, or they were going through a "rough spot" professionally or personally, or several other reasonable conclusions. My mind was telling me that this was not in my best interest. But the desire to assume the best prevailed and I booked again. What a disaster. So the next time you are willing to overlook bad behavior in others, think of how angry you might be at yourself after you are mistreated.
