Life Time Athletic - Old Orchard, I have a few words for you and this company! PEOPLE BEWARE! Today as an ex member of many years I sent my daughter with friends as the club had told me I just needed to sign a release and then she would be allowed in as a guest! Then got a call from my friend stating they will not let her in unless I checked her in, so I drop what I was ding to go over to check her in, AND then at the time of check was told I MUST stay in the building for the entire time she was in the kids room or we had to leave, the manager, supervisor, NO ONE was of any help as my 8 year old daughter stood there in tears. SO anyone thinking of becoming a member should know that they can’t bring guests that are adult or kids unless the parent of the guest can stay in the building the entire time -- which of course defeats the purpose of a play date. Also to see if my daughter would be interested SINCE the make over of the children's platform had changed, part of why we stop going was due to the kids room became to young for my kid. Well, after today’ unfortunate situation and my kid not getting a chance to experience the new options for children -- WE WON’T be joining a place that would lie on the phone, wast my time, and then treats not only adult members with like a sheep, but to a kid too, COLD AS ICE they were! Nice waste of an hour of my time and a very unhappy kid! Attached is photo of her reaction of how we were treated all the way from the club all the way to home!
