I bought my Dodge through Sherman recently. Humza was my salesman and he knew what he was talking about right away anytime I asked a question. I met with his manager, Erick, when he came over to greet and congratulate me on buying my Dodge. Dealt with Jay in finance. Made paperwork not so much of a bore. I'm happy with my purchase and experience.

1-800-247-9753 Chrysler customer relations #. Sherman Dodge Chrysler Jeep took a $100.00 deposit on a car then raised the price of the car. When I questioned them on that they sold the car from under me. When I tried to get my deposit back they charged me again another $100.00. Now they say I need to drive to Skokie, IL all the way from upper michigan to get my $200.00 dollars back. If you have a bad experience like I did call the number at the top of this post . They are VERY interested in helping you with your problem.

It has been 20 years since I purchased a new car. I knew what I wanted, a Lexus IS, and finally found it at Sherman Dodge in Skokie, IL. I lucked out and had a great salesperson to contact me. His name is Chris, “the shy guy”. Chris is really a people’s person, very personable. He listened to the specifics of what I wanted in a car and set the navigation in place to make it happen. I appreciated that. He also took the time to go over many details of the car including setting up the Bluetooth. Long story short, because of Chris, I ended up with a great car and a good deal. I also want to send kudos out to Abe, the Sales Manager and also, Dave the Service Manager for the part they played in helping me to acquire my long awaited dream car. Everybody, before you settle somewhere else, I would advise that you give “the shy guy” a try at Sherman’s Dodge. I believe you’ll be happy you did.

I had a very bad experience with the dealer company Sherman Dodge, Inc. located in Skokie, IL. I have been a victim of fraud when I purchased my new vehicle the Jeep Grand Cherokee’ 2015 on November 18, 2014. It was a deal in the amount of $46,690. Among all fees and charges, they added the extended guarantee service, saying that that service was required. For that service I had to pay $2650. In 2 weeks I contacted the United Car Care, Inc., the company which provides the extended guarantee service, to inform myself about that service. However, I was told that the following service was an optional one and that I am not in their system as a client. Therefore, I have decided to cancel that service; and, on December 18, 2014 I signed the legal cancellation form within Sherman Dodge, Inc. Unfortunately, no actions have been taking yet. I met with the dealership’ staff in person to clarify the situation but unexpectedly, staff were unprofessional to my matter, yelling at me, giving hostile attitudes and saying that they are not going to reimburse any money to the lender. As a result, I end up having no extended guarantee service neither money still not been sent to the lender and I continue to pay monthly interest for $2650.

Sherman Dodge lives up to all the negative cliches about car dealers. They advertise one set of prices to get the suckers into the dealership, then avoid answering any questions about the actual price and financing until after you've been there for hours. In my case, the window sticker with all the vehicle information was hidden under the seat, even though it is legally supposed to be displayed when buyers look at the car. They'll add extra fees and charges to the cost without even telling you until the last minute when the finance guy gets you to sign. Only buy from them if you also happen to be a con artist.

Stay away form SHERMAN and stay away from CHRYSLER!

I purchased a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from Sherman in October 2013. After the first three months of owning the car things took a turn for the worse. I have owned my car for less than one year and it has fewer than 8,000 miles on it and it has been in the repair show between 8-9 times. It has had the transmission "updated" several times, the radio replaced, the rear hatch replaced, there is a constant vibration noise from behind the dashboard, I have never experienced such poor quality control in a new vehicle ever. To make things worse, Sherman's service department makes each trip in for service that much worse. Each time I am in I have to fight to get a rental car despite them often having to keep my car over night. They act as if I am inconveniencing them yet I am the one missing work to bring my brand new car in for service driving an hour each way. Several times I have had to bring the car in after making an apointmenet telling them whats wrong for them to look at the problem and say, "oh we dont have the parts, you will have to bring it back", requiring another trip to their wonderful service department.

When I had the car in the have the reach latch replaced, as it broke and would not close (yes I had to use clothesline wire to tie my latch down for over a week because Sherman could not fix it and then had to order parts for it twice). Then I got a phone call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up and if I didnt picked it up that day I would be charged for the rental car the next day. So I head up to Sherman that evening to pick up my car and it they try to give it back to me with the plastic inside of the rear hatch hanging loose, the flashlight in the rear hatch area and its housing pulled out with the wires exposed, and dirty paper towels thrown in my rear hatch!!! Who turns over a car that has just been serviced to a customer like this, SHERMAN DODGE does!!

Despite my repeated attempts to remedy the situation with management and Chrysler Corporate I find myself stuck with the same terrible vehicle which I am sure will continue to give me problems the longer I own it. They only solutions Sherman has offered is for me to come out of pocket even more money and buy a new car, what scammers!!

I am only giving them 4 stars cuz' I believe there is ALWAYS room for improvement.

I went in to return a part I did not need for my 2007 Liberty (wanted to have it on hand when my brother in law had time to fix my door). I was walking through the showroom thinking "It's worth a try".....

You should also know that I am NOT a big fan of yelp as they only show you the "squeaky wheel" reviews. If you post a ton of reviews you are put on the front page of a retailer. If you post a sincere review "occassionally" you are put behind that page and the person has to click "read OTHER reviews". Totally shady so I am working on playing their game as I believe the squeaky wheel mentality is detrimental to small business!!!

I had been looking for weeks for a 4d Used Wrangler that fit my budget (it was a LONG shot I knew this).

I decided to just check while I was there.

I said I wanted a 4d 4x4 wrangler with "decent" mileage for under $20k. I knew I wasn't going to find something with under 50 for that price as this is a high demand car and hold their value well, that is why I wanted one tho.

They called over "Donnie" the wrangler guy. He looked at the used car list and said "Play the lottery, I have something." He isn't kidding, finding it is like winning the lottery I had been looking for WEEKS.

I had told them what I wanted and my budget, they didn't try to push me over my budget!!!

This was a 2008 Wrangler 4d 4x4 hardtop with Rubi wheels and tires with 71k on it. ANd it is in GREAT SHAPE!!! I was told $20k plus tax.

I took it to my brother in laws shop to have him check it out. THere was an oil leak, a door water leak, it was dirty under the carpet, and the windshield had a crack in it. I thought his laundry list might be the deal breaker and they would try to up the price..

NOPE, they fixed it all and within two days I was back to do the paperwork.

There was a "secret" $400 upcharge for etching and nitro. I didn't bawk about this too much as I know I got a good deal on the car. I had already negotiated with my credit union for the financing so there was no financing B.S.

There really was NO B.S. in this transaction. Went really smoothly and I felt like i got what I asked for and a good deal to boot.

Most of the reviews are about the service department, and I luckily will not need them as my brother in law is an ASE certified mechanic and I got the bumper to bumper extended warranty through my bank. I am sorry for those who had bad experiences, and I don't know if it is my no B.S. straight to the point I know what I want attitude or if I just got lucky.

But I DO feel lucky, and Donnie Kostecki was my salesman and he was GREAT. He knows EVERYTHING about the wranglers as he is an enthusiast and I would send ANYONE i know to him to look for their new or used Wrangler.

All good reviews must be lies! Worst experience ever!

Anybody who gives a positive review about Sherman Dodge is lying and knows somebody there!

BEWARE OF THESE LYING RATS AND THEIR OLD-SCHOOL SLEAZEBALL TACTICS!! YOUR BEST BET IS TO STAY AWAY OR YOU'LL GET SCREWED!!!

They advertised a new car online for a great price; I figured it was just a terriffic promotion as there were NO caveats, or comments with asterisks indicating otherwise. In fact, I even called and spoke with a sales guy who confirmed that they had the car for the advertised price.

So, I made the 45 minute drive with my wife, and spent 2 hours wasting time with a sales guy who was ultra slow and kept refusing to have my trade-in looked at while I waited, saying it "would only take 5 minutes" while in the end it took about 35 minutes. But, I was patient and polite just happy that I was about to get a great deal.

So finally, the sales guy comes back with a write-up. Not only was the offer of my trade about $1500 below average trade-in value and $4500 below average retail according to http://edmunds.com, but THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE I JUST LOOKED AT WAS $3000 HIGHER than what was advertised! I was angry instantly and asked why the price was different, to which they replied that since I didn't qualify for all of the rebates that I couldn't get that price. I told them that the online ad did NOT mention any of these caveats, but they didn't care. I said that the higher price was not the price according to the ad, and some piece of garbage jumps in and says that it is the price; all he would do is laugh and argue.

Unbelievable. I with I could warn everybody, these people are ruining these brands and people's lives.

Great communication and smooth transaction!

Demetre was very helpful with a car I found for my son on the internet. I made the trade-in deal over the phone with him, as long as the new car checked out. It was a long drive for us. The car was exactly as described and we got the deal that Demetre promised us. Having been treated poorly at a dealership prior to finding this car, this was a refreshing surprise. This is how thing should go when buying a used car.

Surprise: Nice car dealership

I called Sherman Dodge because a belt broke on my car and they called a reasonably priced towing company to bring my car in for service. My mechanic, Stan was great! He explained what had happened to the belt, in a way i could understand, and told me he would complete the job as quickly as possible, which was within 2 hours. Great job, great place!

Do yourself a favor and take this review as good advice – Drive past Sherman without stopping. These guys are liars and fast talking bate and switch artists. It will take a good while to get over the feeling of slime from having set foot in their showroom. I went in the first time with specific needs. Later that day their sales manager Dan, the self proclaimed "head guy" called me at my home telling me that they had everything I wanted, car – options – finance terms, and all I needed to do was come back in. I made an appointment for a couple of days later but I had a last minute schedule change and went back a day early. The "head guy" was off and to my surprise, no one had a clue about what had been described to me the night I was called. I had been told that there were a couple of cars that met my wish list and that financing had already been pre-arranged for the terms and payment range I had requested - but when I arrived, none of this was true. I decided to come back when the "head guy" was in, when I did and confronted him, he scrambled to put together a deal that was nothing like I had originally requested (different car features with fewer options - finance terms - and greater down payment). What's worse then his original lies began to become obvious and I didn't accept his last minute deal, he attempted to humiliate and loud talked me disrespectfully in an attempt to make me look like the idiot and cover-up for is own disgraceful lies in front of the entire showroom floor. NO ONE should ever need a car bad enough to do business with these guys when there are so many other dealers out there – Do yourself a favor and drive past Sherman.
