I had a very bad experience with three other well service companies ranging from making multiple appointments to come back to do the work and not showing up or calling to telling me over the phone that I needed an artisan well without even coming out to look at it. I called A & J Well by chance and had a very friendly lady answer the phone, LISTEN to my problem, and tell me that she would call back within 15 minutes as she needed to contact the workmen that were out on another job. Well given my past experience I thought here we go again. So I started looking for other well companies and before I could call another she called back in under 15 minutes to tell me that they would be out in half an hour. Second surprise they did show up. Scott and Josh went in the basement to check out things inside. After half an hour Scott advised me that the problem was at the well and we would have to dig it up. I said ok I don't have much choice. A trip around the house reviled that there was no access to my well and I had no idea where it was. Scott said he would be back the same day with the equipment to locate the well and dig it up. They both came back in a little while and went to work. They dug up the well found the problem fixed it replaced the dirt and had our water working the same day. It was quite a operation requiring a backhoe and a lot of labor. Scott was in charge and Josh was his helper both worked really well together and were a pleasure to watch and talk to. That was three months ago and everything is working great. After seeing what they had to do I am convinced that the other well companies that led me along and stood me up just didn't want to put in the effort necessary and didn't have the courtesy to tell me that up front. No problem for these two guys. Oh yea there price for all this was very reasonable. Trust these guys they are excellent.
