I first went to Slidell Memorial because I was fainting, and different doctor sent me home without finding the cause. At The Louisiana Heart Hospital, Dr. Barton was my doctor. In 30 minutes, they realized that I had ulcers and a Bleed from taking too many BC powders due to daily headaches and chronic migraines. Dr. Barton listened and really got to know me-and my case while visiting my room. He actually cared. He was incredibly knowledgeable and he listened. Not only did he treat my ulcers, but he treated my headaches. I have tried countless drugs to manage my pain, and he found what actually worked on the first try. He said that my current medication must not be working if I needed so many BC Powders. He was right. Thanks to Dr. Barton, I feel better than ever. (His nurse practitioner is great as well.)

My first visit I was in a lot of pain. The waiting time was maybe 5 minutes, they listened to everything I had to say. They treated me right there in the office due to a severe infection and monitored me for 2 1/2 hrs. I couldn't ask for a better Dr.
