I'm not happy with pikes. Wasted my time arranging a ride to pick up an unfinished vehicle. I brought another vehicle there a few years ago and they did great. I brought a 12 yr. old. vehicle this to have collision work done. Big mistake I should have let my friends body shop do this simple job. The hood required repainting. I think they looked and said the customer won't mind if we do substandard work on an old vehicle. Can anyone tell me how long paint will stay on an area with a few minor stone chips that wasn't prepared correctly? Probably the first car wash. My vehicle says "I've been in the body shop" with one short glance or rather an apprentice repaired me! Also the got some kind of chemical on the passenger door where no repair work was needed. Don't know what happened to Pikes but I'm never going back. Sad this is an Allstate approved body shop.

Used Pike 4 times in years past when Mr Pike ran the shop and was VERY happy with their work. Now he has a manager and owner Mr. Pike will not even call customers when requested. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICTURES OF ALL SIDES AND BACK OF YOUR CAR BEFORE LEAVING IT AT PIKES. They fixed my damaged fender but put a very noticable dent in opposite side rear door....then dabbed some paint on dent so I would not see it. I wash and wax my car frequently and it is only 2 years old with 30k miles and that dent was not there when they received the car from me. If Pike's body shop would not have tried to hide the dent by dabbing paint on it like amateurs, they could have used a sucton cup procedure to pop the dent out without painting it.



Also, I laid a dented hub cap on the front seat when I dropped the car off and they threw it in the dumpster instead of replacing it. I complained about the hub cap missing and they asked the body person and he said he threw it away!!! They did get me a new hub cap.



Again, the manager refuses to fix the dent in the door unless I pay him to fix it. Mr Pike failed to call me as requested twice now.....only option will be to go to court.....I believe in backing your manager so you do not have to work in the shop Mr. Pike, but NOT WHEN THE MANAGER IS WRONG!!!!
