I chose to become an advanced practice provider (APP) because as a nurse for 13 years in the hospital setting, I cared for patients for a brief period of time. Now, as a family nurse practitioner, I can build trust with my patients and their families, understand their needs and provide continuity of care. My philosophy of care is patient-focused, holistic and individualized. Outside of work, I enjoy trips to the beach with friends and family, riding horses, fishing and playing golf.
