on Aug. 10, 2012 we stopped at the Village Motor Lodge for an overnight stay on our way to Florida. The room was disgusting. The sheets had poop stains on them, the towels were dirty and stained but worse of all my husband opened up his bed and found roaches on the pillow. Another roach was sitting on the microwave oven. We complained and asked for our money back so we could go to a different motel and the clerk said it was company policy not to refund any money. We left and lost $39.45. We are seniors and live on Social Security. This motel should be shut down and investigated for fraud.
