Douglas Construction has been building since 1959. We have a reputation for tackling the tough jobs is one of them, as well as for our relentless commitment to every job and customer. A family-owned, self-performing company founded by Paul B. Surabian (a.k.a. Senior), we are now led by a second generation, Paul T. Surabian. Douglas takes on commercial construction projects of many descriptions, but we’re perhaps best known for our ability to successfully take on challenges. Through the years, clients have discovered that we’re the go to company with the specialized expertise to get the job done right. Originally based in Providence, we’ve been operating out of our same location in Smithfield on Douglas Pike since 1973. Serving Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts, we have the skills, the trades and the know-how to ensure successful projects, from the ground up.
