Update

I am updating my review of Alpine Cleaning and Restoration. Since our experience, the owner of the company contacted us and resolved the issue we had. This business listens to their customers; it was refreshing to experience this demonstration of character. Thanks Alpine!

Terrible!

I was so disappointed with this company. We had an agreement about what the charges would be, and they sent us a bill for almost 3X the amount. $400 to remove a 4X4 piece of wet carpet pad and leave a couple of fans there while we were waiting for insurance approval is ridiculous, and we never agreed to this. They are also horribly slow to respond to billing issues and sending statements. I feel that they take advantage of the fact that people need help during an emergency. They get your signature on that contract and fill it in later. I will never use them again!!

Save yourself, you don't need more headaches and hassles, don't hire them !!!

Work was sub-standard. Billing never shown to owners (invoices padded) Work never finished. City told ALL electrical worked-less than half completed/works-Owners gave lists of incomplete work, broken, damaged personal, lost items. Alpine given 90 days after owners move-in to "finish" job.(12/10/07) Alpine froze owners bank assets-owners holding last check for repairs-will release when work is finished. Mortg.Co.inspection = 80% work completed. Alpine credited some incompleted work-leaving the owners hanging- Alpine claims owners used a check for their own, yet owners told by Alpine to purchase replacement appliances-rest went tohome for repairs incompleted by Alpine.Garage full of broken, damaged items- Ins. Co.claims Alpine took items in good faith-as "custodians" are responsible etc $379,000 "home" now $200,000. Alpine wedging settlement-meeting Aug '08-1 yr after fire-Alpines & Owners lawyers made agreement-owners never agreed, Owner was out of room when made.(Have Proof All)
