My experience at Calming Effects was calming from start to finish. The spa is very quiet, especially compared to some hair salons that throw in massage as an extra. I had the good fortune to have a therapeutic massage by Misty. The spa offers quite a range of services; this 60-minute treatment was just what I needed. Misty started by asking how I wanted to feel when I left. I replied, "Pampered and soft." And boy, was I.
